Anthony Norman head baseball coach UHS

Anthony Norman was recently named Head Coach of the UHS Titans, replacing former Titan’s coach Frank Martello who stepped down earlier this summer. Coach Norman comes to UHS from Virginia where he graduated from Colonial Forge High School and went on to lead their Baseball program after graduating College with his Master’s Degree in Education Leadership. Mr. Norman has Coached High School Baseball since 2012 and leaves Colonial Forge High School with a winning record and back-to-back regional playoff berths. Mr. Norman was also awarded 2016 Coach of the Year for his Conference. Coach Norman has experience in running community camps, organizing fundraiser and proper field maintenance which is something near and dear to Coach Martello.

Off the field, Coach Norman is equally impressive having mentored youth with the Boys & Girls Club, serving as Umpire at tournament level games and volunteering in Honduras helping local families building concrete home foundations and handing out medicines. Coach Martello was quoted as saying “I was part of the search committee and was impressed with Coach Norman from the beginning.” and “I look forward to seeing Coach Norman add his own touch and experience to the Titan Baseball program and wish him all the best.”
