If you are planning to run Cross Country in 2017, it’s important (and so fun!) to make time for summer conditioning. The schedule will remain the same for all of June and July.
It’s a great way to meet and connect with your new teammates and coaches and build your fitness for the fall season. We are really looking forward to getting started and seeing how awesome this year’s Cross Country team is going to be!
Please be sure to have a water, a watch a towel or mat and a positive attitude. The runs will typically last around an hour and you only need to attend one per day, unless otherwise instructed.
It’s important to attend the June 5th run (either morning or evening), if possible. Your coaches will have some reminders and it’s a great time to get any questions answered. At any time, feel free to contact Coach Lockrem with any concerns.
The summer schedule is as follows :
Mondays (starting June 5th) : 7:00 am or 6:30 pm Debary Hall: 198 Sunrise Blvd, DeBary, FL 32713. Same location, both times.
Tuesdays: 7:00 am Lake Beresford Park: 2100 Fatio Rd, DeLand, FL 32720. or 6:30 pm UHS Track. Different locations this day
Wednesdays: 7:00 am or 6:30 pm Valentine Park: 1511 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763 (2nd entrance, coming from Volusia Ave) Same location, both times.
Thursdays: 7:00 am or 6:30 pm Lyonia Preserve: 2150 Eustace Avenue, Deltona, FL 32725 (over near the trail, not the library) Same location, both times.
Fridays: 7:00 am or 6:30 pm PFC Emory L Bennett Veterans Memorial Park: 1365 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Orange City, FL 32763 Same location, both times
