Multiple Teams · National Signing Day 2021

On Wednesday February 3, 2021, University High School had the opportunity to celebrate 9 student-athletes who will be continuing their educational and athletic careers into the collegiate ranks.  Read below about each of these student-athletes.  We wish them all well as they prepare for the next step.


Paige Boucher is headed to Wheaton College to become a Lyon and to play Soccer. Paige has been a four-year member of the Titan soccer and cross country teams and has served as a captain.  She has also played Titan Tennis for two-years.  She is the captain of the Academic Team, an officer in Mu Alpha Theda, an Ambassador of Finance Academy and a member of National Honor Society, NEHS, Rho Kappa, and School of Government.  Paige has been a Daytona News Journal All-Star Best of Preps for Cross Country, and a three time MVP for Cross Country.  Paige participates for the 02 ECNLR FKK club soccer program, which earned district championship honors and an elite 8 birth.  Paige gives back to the soccer community by referee in the ECNL leagues and a coach for the Stetson Tiny Tots program.

Alisha Callender Rosado will be attending Monroe College becoming a Mustang to play volleyball on a full athletic scholarship.  Alisha has been a volleyball player for University High School, AAU, Junior Olympics as well as several travel teams.  Her AAU team has been to the National Tournament on multiple occasions.  She has been on the Junior Olympic team for the last 7 years including the team that took first place in 2017.     She is also an Honor Roll student here at UHS.

Jackson Hines is committing to play football for the Warner University Royals.  Jackson will be receiving both academic and athletic scholarships and plans to major in business.  Jackson has played football for the Titans for 3 years and tennis for 1 year.

Zoe Hines will be headed to Boston to attend Boston to play softball for the Eagles of Boston College.  Zoe is a four-sport athlete at University High School.  Zoe has been a member of the 2019 District 3 bowling championship team that advanced to the National Championships.  She was a Top 10 competitor at the 2019 3A FHSAA state weightlifting tournament.   While her primary senior seasons have yet to occur, she has already been named as a captain of the basketball and weightlifting teams.  Outside of school her softball accomplishments include participation on multiple national level travel softball teams including the 2019 National Championships in Oklahoma City.  Outside of athletics, Zoe is also a member of National Honor Society, Student Government, the Biomedical academy and the American Red Cross.

Brea Kamm has signed a letter of intent to become a Warrior at Webber International University where she will play soccer.  Brea is a multi-sport athlete at University including a four-year letter winner in soccer and volleyball and a two-time tennis and flag football player.  Brea has played for the Orlando City Soccer club and has been a four-year Captain with the club team.  She is a member of the National English Honor Society, Rho Kappa, National Honor Society and Engineering Academy.

Cole Leasure will be attending Wingate University to play football for the bulldogs.  Cole has been a four year athlete for the Titans playing Football, Weightlifting and Track while at UHS.  Cole has received numerous recognitions while playing football for the Titans including three-time All-Area Honorable Mention, 2019 Titan Award for Football and 2018 Defensive MVP.   Cole is also a member of the Finance Academy and has been a member of National Honor Society.

Terance Pope is signing his National Letter of Intent to play football at Davenport University in Michigan.  Terance will receive athletic scholarships to become a Panther.  Terance has been a four-year Titan football player and has run track for a season.  Outside of school he has also been a boxer with several gyms in Deltona.

Jonni Sanchez is committing to Lane College where she will become a Dragon and play softball.  Jonni will be receiving both athletic and academic scholarships to attend.  She has been a four-year member of the Titan Softball program.  She has also participated on the USSSA softball team.  In school, she has also been a member of UHS SGA.

Bryce Werblo will be signing with Mercer University.  Bryce will be playing golf for the Bears.  His scholarship includes both athletic and academic monies.  Bryce has been a two time Five-Star champion, a Class 3A FHSAA District Champion advancing to both the FHSAA Regional and State tournaments including being a Top 20 finisher at the state tournament.  Bryce has been named 3 times to the All-Area team and has been named as the Volusia-Flagler player of the year.  His non-UHS golf participation includes a Florida Junior tour win, Five top 10’s in Florida Junior tour events.  Bryce’s academic achievements are equally impressive as he currently has a 4.5 cumulative weighted GPA.
