Wrapping Up Cross Country 2019

This season has been incredible. Through all the sweat, tears (happy and sad), blood…other bodily fluids, uncontrollable laughter, face-breaking smiles, whistle blows, footsteps, (so.many.footsteps) hugs, bugs and socks we’ve become a fast-moving, hard-working, tearing-through-personal-records Cross Country family. Some quick stats:  *UHS Freshman 5k Record was broken *one overall Team win *five Team Runner Up results

Royce Eggert Advances to Cross Country Regionals

Congratulations to Royce on his 17th place Overall Finish at our 2019 District Championships. He becomes the first freshman (!!) and and only fifth runner, in UHS Cross Country History, to advance past our (incredibly competitive) District race. Regionals will be held Saturday, November 2nd at Santa Fe College, in Gainesville.

The temperatures are getting cooler and the athletes are running faster. It’s going to be a great month as we ease into the home stretch of 2019 Cross Country.
